Laurent Blanc is keen on Inter's job

Former Napoli midfielder Alain Boghossian says Laurent Blanc is keen on the job. Blanc has been linked with Andrea Stramaccioni's job this week. “Blanc would certainly be delighted to sit on the Nerazzurri bench,” Boghossian, who assisted Blanc with the French national side, told TMW. “It’s a nice place with an important club – there is everything that you need to do well. Basically, you never turn down the Inter bench.”

Leicester agrees Deal for Amartey?

Leicester City have agreed a deal with FC Copenhagen for the transfer of Daniel Amartey, the Mercury understands. Sources in Denmark say the versatile 21-year-old is now set to hold talks over personal terms and undergo a medical after successful negotiations between City and Copenhagen. It is believed the fee is around £5 million and, as long as his medical and negotiations go well, and subject to Amartey receiving a work permit, he could be confirmed as a City player sometime this week. Amartey, who joined Copenhagen in 2014 as a central defender but was successfully converted into a defensive midfield player by former Wolvers boss Stale Solbakken, is widely considered one of the best midfield players in Danish football.

Roura wary of 'difficult' Rayo

Jordi Roura has claimed that his Barcelona side will face a 'difficult' challenge when they play Rayo Vallecano tomorrow. The Blaugrana host Paco Jemez's side at Camp Nou on Sunday, looking for the three points that will further extend their lead at the top of the table. And the assistant has admitted that it will be a tough test without the injured Carles Puyol. “It is a difficult game,” he told a Press conference. “For us this is very important. If we win it brings us closer to our goal. “When a player of Carles' level is out, it’s always hard.
